Average or Exceptional – the Choice is Yours!

We all are on this journey called of life. The question is which road are you on?

How much of your life have you spent wasting your time being average? I don’t want to be average. There is nothing exciting about average. Granted, there will be things in life that the best we can be will just be average. For instance – my golf game. I only golf once every couple of years, so I am not going to improve my game. I will always be average at golf. I can live with that.

But what about some of the bigger things? Would you like to be average in business? In relationships? In your community? Who wants to be an average spouse or parent? Not me. I don’t want to be an average businessman, an average husband or an average parent. It is not a matter of pride, that just doesn’t sound very good.

I want to be exceptional. Exceptional in business, as a husband and as a parent. Those are some of my goals that I am striving towards daily. The choice is mine.

God has made each of us with the ability to succeed. It comes down to our choices. What are we going to do with the time that is given to us? Are you going to go through life being bounced around like a pinball – just taking circumstances as they come and letting them push you around? (AVERAGE)

Or are you going to make a decision to be the best you can be in the things that are important to you? (EXCEPTIONAL)

The choice is yours – choose wisely.
